YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Local bikers will gather Saturday for the 13th annual Mike Hull Memorial Poker Run for Autism, a benefit event that supports families and individuals with autism in the Mahoning Valley.
The event will begin at 10 a.m. with registration and a basket auction at the Dash Inn, 2716 Mahoning Ave. After a blessing of the bikes, riders will hit the road at noon, stopping at local American Legion, VFW, Eagles and AMVETS posts before returning to the Dash Inn.
After the ride, the event will continue with food, raffles and live music by DJ JZ and Rezonate.
The cost is $20 per rider, which includes a ticket, food and entertainment. Nonriders can attend for $10 ($5 for children 12 and younger).
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Autism Society of Mahoning Valley and other autism-related initiatives in the Valley.
The event honors the late Mike Hull, a beloved husband, father, brother and grandfather of a granddaughter on the autism spectrum. Hull was also a musician who loved playing and donated his time and talent to organizations in need.
