YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – During Thursday’s Bites and Bits of History program at the Tyler History Center, Traci Manning, curator of education for the Mahoning Valley Historical Society, presented “Made in the Mahoning Valley: Local Firsts,” highlighting Mahoning Valley contributions to Ohio’s and the nation’s history.

This year’s lunch-and-learn series is part of Ohio’s official America250 semiquincentennial initiative, which recognizes the contributions of communities across the state to U.S. history.
