ROOTSTOWN TOWNSHIP, Ohio – This fall, 50 students will begin classes at Northeast Ohio Medical University’s new Bitonte College of Dentistry, the first public dental college in northeastern Ohio. The program aims to address the state’s dental care shortage by training dentists to serve in underserved areas.

The school is partnering with clinics and community health centers statewide to provide hands-on training and expand access to dental care.
