COLUMBUS, Ohio – The honors keep rolling in for Mark Lamoncha, president and CEO of Humtown Products.
State Rep. Monica Robb Blasdel, R-79th, recently presented a resolution from the Ohio House of Representatives to Lamoncha in recognition of his being named the U.S. Small Business Administration’s 2026 Ohio Small Business Person of the Year.
Lamoncha was also named the National Small Business Person of the Year during a White House event last month.
Under Lamoncha’s leadership, Humtown Products has grown from a Columbiana County pattern shop into North America’s leading producer of 3D-printed sand cores and molds, helping drive Ohio’s reputation as a hub for advanced manufacturing, a news release states.
“Mark’s entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to innovation have created jobs, strengthened our local economy and showcased the very best of Ohio manufacturing,” Blasdel said. “It was an honor to recognize his accomplishments with a resolution from the Ohio House of Representatives.”
The resolution commends Lamoncha for his business leadership, dedication to advancing manufacturing technologies and contributions to economic growth in Columbiana County and throughout Ohio.
YBI announced during its Advanced Manufacturing User Expo last month that its Tech Block Building 5 in downtown Youngstown will be renamed in honor of Lamoncha.
