NILES, Ohio – Boom Ball, a reimagined, high-energy baseball experience, will come to 7 17 Credit Union Field at Eastwood on Sept. 12.

Designed as a fresh take on America’s pastime, Boom Ball combines elite baseball and softball talent with personality-driven entertainment, with men and women players on each team. The Niles appearance is part of its nationwide tour of ballparks this summer.

The players use trick plays and interactive moments with fans from the first pitch through the final inning.

The Lucky Llamas and Chaos Crew will play a six-inning game at 7 17 Credit Union Field that will take approximately two hours.

The teams’ rosters feature former collegiate and minor league players, softball stars and reality TV personalities.

“Boom Ball isn’t traditional baseball,” said Jordan Taylor, executive vice president of the Mahoning Valley Scrappers, the home team at 7 17 Credit Union Field. “It’s a wild, fast-paced, excitingly entertaining, rule-bending spectacle that is going to electrify fans.”

The event is designed for families, sports fans and first-time attendees alike.

Tickets will go on sale Aug. 3 only at BoomBallTour.com. Tickets will not be sold at the Scrappers website or the box office at 7 17 Credit Union Field.
