HUBBARD, Ohio – Braydich Dental’s annual Smiles for Charity campaign raised $10,500 for The Rich Center for Autism, a nonprofit that provides specialized education, therapy and support to children and young adults with autism.
The campaign, which ran from March 1 to June 30, offered custom teeth whitening kits and tubes of whitening gel for purchase, with 100% of the proceeds going to The Rich Center.
“Smiles for Charity is more than a fundraiser. It’s a way for our patients and community to support local organizations doing life-changing work,” said Dr. Rudy Braydich, co-owner of Braydich Dental. “We’re honored to support The Rich Center for Autism in its mission to teach and care for children and young adults with autism.”
At The Rich Center, an externally funded unit of Youngstown State University, children are enrolled in programs that include academic instruction, speech and occupational therapy, behavioral analysis and family support services, regardless of the ability to pay.
“We are so grateful to Braydich Dental and everyone who participated in this year’s campaign,” said Jake Ellis, community engagement and event operations coordinator at The Rich Center. “This generous donation will help us expand our impact and continue creating safe, enriching environments for the children and young adults we serve.”
Each year, Braydich Dental selects a local organization as its charitable recipient. Since its inception more than 20 years ago, Smiles for Charity has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for local organizations. Last year, Braydich Dental donated $15,000 to the Summer Enrichment Program of Trumbull County.
