CAMPBELL, Ohio – The Breakfast Club, a coffee shop, has opened in Collingwood Center, 633 Porter Ave.
Set in a recently renovated hall in the former church building, it offers breakfast favorites, specialty coffees and teas.
The menu includes omelets, scramble bowls, pancakes, avocado toast, breakfast sandwiches and side dishes, as well as children’s offerings.
“We took one of our banquet halls and transformed it to The Breakfast Club,” said Julie Collingwood, owner. The shop has a steampunk theme.
The shop is open mainly in the mornings. Hours are 7-11 a.m. Wednesday-Friday, 8 a.m. to noon Saturday and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.
Booths and tables fill the dining room, which can also be transformed for parties, bereavement luncheons, wedding receptions, banquets and other events, Collingwood said.
“We plan to continue improvements to make this a unique and inviting space for the community,” she said.
Collingwood Center strives to be a community hub that hosts events year-round. The schedule for the coming months includes:
- Sept. 20: Car and Bike Cruise-In, with classic cars, bikes, food and music.
- Nov. 22: Craft show, featuring local artisans and crafters, perfect for holiday shopping.
