CANFIELD, Ohio – Bret Michaels has canceled the remainder of his 2026 tour due to medical reasons and will not be performing on Labor Day, Sept. 7, at the Canfield Fair grandstand.
“The fair board was notified this morning by our partner, JAC Live, that Michaels was not continuing his tour,” George Roman, director of entertainment at the Canfield Fair, said in a press release Saturday. “This was obviously not the news that we wanted to hear but we are still looking forward to a night of rock followed by a fantastic firework finale presented by Phantom Fireworks.”
The concert will still go on, but with only the other acts that were also on the bill – Donnie Iris and the Cruisers and The Clarks.
A fireworks display will follow the concert at the grandstand at 9 p.m.
Refunds for those who had already purchased tickets are available at the point of purchase for those who wish to receive one. Tickets for the new show are available now at Ticketmaster.com starting at $25.
Michaels underwent emergency kidney stone surgery in July and canceled several concert dates at that time, but not the Canfield Fair show. After suffering some post-operation complications, his doctors advised him to cancel all of his upcoming concert dates.
The front man for the band Poison and a solo artist, Michaels is also a solo artist and television star.
