Brite Promotes Daugherty, Adds 4 Professionals to Staff
WARREN, Ohio – Brite Energy Innovators is welcoming new professionals to the staff of Ohio’s sole energy incubator and is promoting Sara Daugherty to chief of staff.
Daugherty joined Brite three years ago. In her new position, she is responsible for establishing, implementing, monitoring and improving key processes and procedures, as well as compliance and human resources management. She most recently served as head of partnerships – growing industry relationships and leading Brite’s e-mobility efforts.
Jennifer Brindisi has been named director of communications and marketing. Brindisi spent nearly 20 years in broadcast news, as an anchor and reporter in three states, including at WKBN, WYFX and WFMJ. She also worked in communications, sales and development with corporate, nonprofit and government organizations.
Jing Lyon now serves as entrepreneur programs director, leading engagement with founders of startup energy companies. Before joining the incubator, Lyon worked in several startups including an electric bicycle company based in Cleveland. She also worked as a process and continuous improvement consultant specializing in business analytics.
Jerry Cordaro serves as special projects program manager. As such, he monitors and delivers on all phases of grants and contracts for the incubator. His background includes project management, education and consulting.
Finally, Jamie Donahue has joined the team as executive assistant. In that role, she ensures governance of the board and organization by providing the president and CEO with day-to-day support.
