HUBBARD, Ohio – An affiliate of an Ohio-based building products company has acquired more than 14 acres and four warehouse buildings along Mount Everett Road for $4.3 million, according to data filed with the Trumbull County Auditor’s office.

Records show that Tier Ten Distribution LLC purchased the land and buildings at 6472 Mount Everett from North Eagle LLC on June 20. The sale includes four warehousing structures and 14.6 acres.

An internet search shows that at least one of the buildings is leased to TOL Buildings HQ, a metal building construction company.

The land and buildings are appraised by the auditor’s office at $795,200 for property tax purposes.

Tier Ten Distribution lists its address as 2105 Sheridan Ave., Springfield, Ohio, the same address as the main offices and headquarters of Tri-State Forest Products Inc. According to its website, Tri-State is a wholesale distributor of commodities and building products, specializing in engineered wood products.

The company currently has nine locations in five states: Springfield and Toledo in Ohio; Indianapolis, Ind.; Edwardsburg, Saginaw, Gaylord and Grand Rapids in Michigan; Lexington, Ky.; and Milan, Tenn. Tri-State said it has combined warehouse space approaching 600,000 square feet.

Tri-State did not return a phone call seeking comment on the company’s plans for the site.
