Seraphina Safety Apparel of Cortland, Ohio, gained momentum in 2025 by refining its internal processes, strengthening its supply chain, and listening closely to the industries and workers it serves.
The company, which makes next-to-skin flame resistant garments that prioritize safety and comfort, was able to increase in scale without making compromises, according to Kelly Franko, founder and president.
Seraphina’s focus has always been on solving the gaps in personal protective equipment (PPE) needs. It has grown into a nationally recognized brand, Franko says.
Educating its customers continues to be an important element of its progress. Many companies are still learning how base layers and undergarments contribute to overall PPE system performance. By offering white papers, conferences, distributor training, and direct customer engagement, Seraphina has strengthened its role as a supplier and a resource.
The company saw many gains in 2025, including:
An increase in adoption of Seraphina products across the steel, utilities, energy and manufacturing sectors.
Deeper relationships with existing distributors and new partners, resulting in broader product visibility and access.
Advances in product development through thermal regulation, durability and wearability in extreme environments.
An elevation of its voice in national conversations around PPE equity, inclusive design, and worker-centered safety solutions.
Each of these wins reinforced a central truth: when you solve real problems thoughtfully, growth follows.
One of the company’s most meaningful wins was hearing directly from workers who felt safer wearing Seraphina products.
Seeing organizations update PPE programs to recognize base layers as a safety requirement – rather than an afterthought – was another defining moment.
Community impact remains integral to Seraphina’s mission. The company is proud to work with a manufacturer that trains and employs people with developmental and physical disabilities, recovering from addiction, and reentering the workforce after incarceration.
In 2026, Seraphina will launch new products, expand its distributor and retail footprint, and strengthen its operational infrastructure. It will also continue to lead the conversation in PPE apparel.
Most importantly, it will remain committed to listening to its customers, partners and workers.
