The Business Journal is offering companies a new high-visibility advertising option designed to position sponsors as leaders in their industries while delivering broad print, digital and email exposure across its multimedia platforms.
The Sponsor an Issue opportunity allows a business to align its brand with a specific edition of The Business Journal, placing it at the center of coverage that reaches thousands of regional decision-makers. The sponsorship includes prominent print placement, digital visibility throughout the life of the issue and repeated exposure through email newsletters and social media amplification.
In print, the sponsor receives a featured spotlight on the front cover of the selected issue, ensuring immediate visibility for readers. Inside the publication, the sponsor is highlighted through a double-truck feature that includes a full-page advertisement and a full page of sponsored content. Sponsors also receive up to 10 complimentary copies of the issue to share with clients, partners or employees.
“The Sponsor an Issue opportunity gives advertisers a way to do more than place an ad. It allows them to align their brand with high-quality journalism and reach decision-makers through print, digital and email platforms over an extended period of time,” said Megan Wine, business development manager at The Business Journal.
The exposure continues well beyond print. Each sponsored issue includes the sponsor’s logo on the digital edition hosted at BusinessJournalDaily.com, which is linked directly from the website’s homepage. The sponsor also receives a website header banner for the month of publication, logo placement on the issue archive page and logo visibility within each individual story from the issue as readers engage with content online.
Email newsletters further extend the reach of the sponsorship. The sponsor’s logo appears in the email newsletter announcing the issue and within each story from that edition as it is distributed through The Business Journal’s newsletters, providing repeated brand exposure to engaged subscribers. Social media amplification is included as part of the sponsorship, helping extend visibility across The Business Journal’s digital channels.
“This program reflects how business leaders want to engage with the media today. They want visibility, credibility and relevance, and sponsoring an issue allows them to be part of a conversation that matters to their industry,” said Mike Moliterno, chief operating officer at The Business Journal.
The Sponsor an Issue opportunity also gives companies a strategic way to establish thought leadership. Advertisers can review The Business Journal’s editorial calendar and choose an issue that aligns with their industry, allowing their brand and message to appear alongside in-depth reporting and analysis focused on topics that matter most to their target audience.
The 2026 editorial calendar includes issues dedicated to industries such as manufacturing, real estate, health care, banking, technology, workforce development, energy, small business and more, giving sponsors the ability to connect their expertise directly to relevant coverage.
