COLUMBIANA, Ohio – C. Tucker Cope & Associates took on more CMAR (Construction Manager at Risk) roles last year, in addition to the design-build delivery method it has become known for.
“We were awarded the CMAR role for the Campbell Health and Community Development Center set to break ground in early 2025,” says C. Tucker Cope, president. The 53,000-square-foot project will house dental offices, classrooms, a recording studio, maker space and a bowling alley.
The Columbiana-based general contractor marked its 40th anniversary last year and completed a 30,000-square-foot medical device manufacturing plant in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
Other projects included a titanium production plant in West Virginia and a high-end auto-repair shop in Zelienople, Pa.
The company has several big projects in the works. These include the Columbiana County engineer’s storage building and the county archive storage building. “We value the opportunity to maintain local projects and local relationships,” Cope says.
Other projects include an elementary school gymnasium in Cortland and a 105,000-square-foot warehouse in Aliquippa, Pa.
