CANFIELD, Ohio – The Canfield Fair is turning up the hometown pride this year by adding The Clarks to its previously announced grandstand concert by Bret Michaels and Donnie Iris.
The show will take place Sept. 7. Tickets are on sale at Ticketmaster.com.
Michaels, Iris and The Clarks all hail from the Pittsburgh area and have long been favorites throughout northeastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania.
The Clarks will open the show, followed by Iris and then Michaels as the headliner.
Michaels was the founder and frontman of metal band Poison, which he launched in 1983. He would go on to become a solo artist but always remained proud of his western Pennsylvania roots. Michaels was excited to include the two Pittsburgh rock acts to the Canfield Fair show.
Both The Clarks and Iris are longtime favorites in the Youngstown area who regularly perform here. The Clarks played the Ribs-N-Rock Festival in Boardman last week, while Iris played the Robins Theatre in Warren in May.
