YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Sales of new cars and trucks to customers in Mahoning, Trumbull, and Columbiana counties increased 8.2% in June compared to the same month the previous year, according to the Greater Cleveland Automobile Dealers’ Association.
Data show that dealers registered 2,478 new vehicle sales for the month, compared to 2,289 in June 2024.
Based on unit volume sales, Boardman Subaru sold the most during the month with 164; Fairway Ford, Canfield, sold 157; Ken Ganley Kia, Boardman, reported 120 units sold; Toyota Volvo Warren sold 112 units; and Greenwood Chevrolet reported 105 new cars and trucks sold during the month.
Sales of used vehicles also improved compared to a year ago, the Dealers’ Association reported.
Data show that dealers sold 2,131 used vehicles to area buyers in June 2025, a 13.8% increase compared to 1,872 sold a year ago during the same month.
