‘Celebration of Scouting’ Fundraiser Set for April 24
BOARDMAN, Ohio – How the Boy Scouts provide leadership skills training and prepares youths for future success will be celebrated April 24 by the Whispering Pines District Great Trail Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
The event, the 13th annual “Celebration of Scouting” breakfast fundraiser hosted by the council, will be held at the Holiday Inn-Boardman. Doors open at 7 a.m. Breakfast will be served beginning at 7:15 with the program ending by 9.
This year’s speaker will be Youngstown City Schools CEO Krish Mohip, and master of ceremonies will be Mark Luke.
The Whispering Pines District of the Great Trail Boy Scout Council serves families in Mahoning County and Hubbard with over 1,000 youth involved supported by more than 600 adult volunteers.
