YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber on Thursday announced the leaders it will honor during its 2025 Salute to Business Breakfast.

The event will take place from 7:30-9:30 a.m. Aug. 28 at the Eastwood Event Centre in Niles. 

This year’s recipients are: 

  • Business Professional of the Year: John Miles, president and CEO of Steelite International.
  • Business Advocate of the Year: Tim Petrey, CEO of HD Growth Partners.
  • Nonprofit Professional of the Year: Andrea Mahone Blackmon, CEO of Andrea Mahone Foundation.
  • Entrepreneur of the Year: Justin White, co-owner and CEO of Advanced Technology Partners.
  • Small Business Professional of the Year: Leigh Jaffer, multiunit owner/operator of Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream.
  • Salute to Labor Achievement Award: Tony Deley, business manager/financial secretary/treasurer for Ironworkers Local 207.

The keynote speaker is Michele Harradence, executive vice president at Enbridge Inc. and president of Enbridge Gas. She will also present the Valley Champion Award to Kip Botirius, executive vice president of Mod Op.

Also during the event, coach Doug Phillips will give a preview of the Youngstown State University football team’s upcoming season, and a representative will provide an update on the 179th Canfield Fair.
