Chamber Moves Salute to Business Breakfast to Sept. 3
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber will host its Salute to Business breakfast to Sept. 3. The even was originally scheduled to be held in May, but was postponed due to the coronavirus.
The event, which runs 7:30 to 9:30 a.m., will be held in person at Mr. Anthony’s in Boardman and will follow all guidelines set by the state. Should those regulations be updated before the event, the chamber will adhere to those changes. Specific rules will be released by the Regional Chamber closer to the event.
Giving the keynote speech will be Majida Mourad, vice president of government relations at Tellurian Inc., a liquid natural gas company. She previously worked as vice president of government relations at Cheniere Energy, where she helped the company secure the first liquid natural gas export permit in the lower 48 states.
The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber will also present its two annual awards. The Spirit of the Valley Award will be presented to Tribune Chronicle/Vindicator publisher Charles Jarvis, while Michael Schrock, Mahoning Valley Regional President of Chemical Bank, will receive the Spirit of the Chamber Award.
