CHAMPION, Ohio – For the second time in three years, the building that houses a Trumbull County manufacturing company has been sold.
Records from the Trumbull County Auditor’s office show JHU Investments LLC of Irvine, Calif., paid $1.8 million for the land and industrial building that houses Drake Manufacturing at 4371 N. Leavitt Road.
BYAN Investments LLC of Los Angeles was the seller. That company bought the building in May 2022 from DMS Partners LLC for $1.2 million, records show.
The property was appraised at $974,500 for tax purposes. DMS Partners bought the building in 2007 for $900,000, records show.
Drake Manufacturing, established in 1972, manufactures precision CNC machines and provides engineered solutions, according to the company’s website.
In 2017, Drake Manufacturing was acquired by CW North America, a subsidiary of China-based CW Bearing.
