NELSONVILLE, Ohio – A second round of artists that includes Charley Crockett, DEHD and  Southern Avenue was announced for the Nelsonville Music Festival.

They will join a lineup that already includes Waxahatchee, MJ Lenderman, The War And Treaty, Ocie Elliott, BALTHVS, Low Cut Connie, The Bug Club and Being Dead.

Waxahatchee is Alabama singer-songwriter Katie Crutchfield, whose 2024 album “Tigers Blood” earned a spot on many year-end best albums lists. The album was also nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Americana Album category.

The annual Nelsonville Music Festival will take place June 20-22 at Snow Fork Event Center in Buchtel, Athens County.

The respected festival always includes an eclectic mix of national, regional and local acts in multiple genres, with an emphasis on indie rock and folk.

The full list of bands added to the lineup also includes Charlie Parr, Rosali, Esther Rose, Amanda Anne Platt & The Honeycutters, Garrett T. Capps and NASA Country and Ryan Davis and the Roadhouse Band. They join a list of previously announced artists that includes Merce Lemon, Nora Brown with Stephanie Coleman, Styrofoam Winos, Jordan Smart, Jerry David DeCicca and Darrin Hacquard.

At least 20 more artists, including the festival’s third and final headliner, will be revealed in the near future. The headliners so far are Waxahatchee and Charley Crockett.

Snow Fork Event Center is a bucolic site surrounded by woods. The festival is moving to June this year after taking place in late July the past two years. Food trucks, beer and wine vendors and children’s activities are part of the festival.

Weekend passes are currently on sale for $190, with prices set to increase as the festival date approaches. Weekend passes for teens (ages 13 to 17) are available for $85, and kids 12 and under can attend for free with a ticketed adult.
