YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Choffin Career & Technical Center will welcome third grade students from the Youngstown City School District Thursday for Safety Superheroes Day.
The immersive event runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This year’s event will focus on fire prevention and career exploration in public safety through interactive outdoor activities, hands-on demonstrations and an interactive tour of Choffin’s Public Safety Lab. Participants will have the opportunity to meet local first responders, explore Choffin’s fleet of public safety vehicles and experience the tools and technology used in the field.
Safety Superheroes Day invites students to unleash their inner hero while learning essential safety practices and discovering what it takes to serve and protect their community.
The event will take place outside Choffin Career & Technical Center, located at 200 E. Wood St.
