Ciminero’s Banquet Center is marking its 30th anniversary after a year that included expanded carryout hours and additional food offerings, reflecting how the family-owned business continues to adapt while remaining a fixture in the Mahoning Valley’s event and hospitality industry. Based in Niles, the banquet center has spent three decades hosting weddings, corporate events, fundraisers and family celebrations.

Founded by Anthony Ciminero, the business continues under his leadership alongside his two sons. Matthew Ciminero serves as head chef, overseeing the kitchen with a focus on consistency and quality, while his brother, Donald, manages day-to-day operations to ensure events run smoothly.

As part of preparations for its 30th year, Ciminero’s expanded its carryout menu and hours in 2024, giving customers additional ways to enjoy its food outside of banquet events. Offerings include canned hot Hungarian sweet and spicy peppers in pints and quarts, homemade pizzas, and rotating weekly specials.

The banquet center provides a range of event services, including dinner buffets, custom entrée menus, and cookie and fruit displays. The facility can accommodate gatherings ranging from 50 to 500 guests, making it suitable for both smaller functions and large-scale events.

“For 30 years, our family has poured our hearts into creating a place where people can celebrate life’s biggest moments,” says owner Anthony Ciminero. “We’re proud of what we’ve built, and even more proud to continue serving the community that has supported us from the beginning.”

As the business enters its next chapter, the family remains committed to the same values that shaped its first three decades: exceptional food, genuine hospitality, and a dedication to making every event unforgettable.
