YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The City Club of the Mahoning Valley will host its State of the Valley dinner 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. June 25 at Packard Music Hall.
The panel discussion will feature Youngstown Mayor Jamael Tito Brown, Warren Mayor Doug Franklin, Warren community development director Michael Keys and Youngstown economic development liaison Dominic Marchionda Jr. Business Journal publisher Andrea Wood will moderate the discussion.
“According to the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber’s annual Economic Development Report Card, private companies invested more than $216 million in the Mahoning Valley in 2017. The investments encompassed 367 projects and created more than 900 jobs while retaining an additional 2,434 jobs,” the City Club said in a release. “Is this momentum sustainable? How can the Valley continue its economic growth? Join us as the mayors of Youngstown and Warren share their perspectives on the state of the Valley.”
Tickets for the dinner, available here, are $20 for City Club members, $35 for nonmembers. Ten-person tables are also available, $250 for nonprofit organizations and $350 for companies. The discussion will also be streamed live online.
