YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The winners of the 19th annual Youngstown CityScape Beautification Awards were announced at a ceremony and reception Thursday at Concept Studio, 217 W. Federal St.
The awards celebrate those who have made exceptional beautification or preservation efforts and continue to raise the standards throughout the city.
Youngstown CityScape presented awards in four categories: Business, Institutional, Community and Residential.
“The awards are a way for the community to join together and say thank you to those who are committed to making a difference and helping improve and beautify Youngstown,” said Sharon Letson, CityScape executive director. “CityScape’s goal is to highlight the positive energy and effort that contributes to the city’s appearance, which in turn inspires others to do the same.”
