WARREN, Ohio – Columbiana officials say the city’s focus on downtown revitalization, housing, tax incentives and business-friendly policies has helped reverse population trends. City Manager Lance Willard is now sharing the community’s growth strategy with other cities, including officials in Moldova, as a model for attracting residents and investment.
Plus, Gov. Mike DeWine joined Mahoning Valley mayors Monday for a paddle on the Mahoning River to highlight ongoing investments in river restoration and recreation.
And 7 17 Credit Union will host Financial Wellness Night on July 17 at 7 17 Credit Union Field at Eastwood during a Mahoning Valley Scrappers game. The free community event will feature complimentary admission, parking, a hot dog and soda voucher, financial wellness activities and a postgame drone and fireworks show.
