PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Comcast has completed an expansion project that brings Xfinity and Comcast Business services to more than 2,300 previously unserved rural homes and businesses across five Eastern Ohio counties, including Mahoning and Columbiana.
With support from BroadbandOhio, the expansion of the fiber-powered network offers residents and business owners high-speed internet solutions, a news release states.
The completed project connects communities across Belmont, Columbiana, Harrison, Jefferson and Mahoning counties – now joining more than 65 million homes and businesses nationwide with access to Xfinity and Comcast Business. Xfinity brings internet, mobile, entertainment and smart home services into one solution that gives customers more speed, savings and control over their connected lives, the release states.
To see if an address is eligible for service, residents can visit Xfinity.com, and businesses can visit ComcastBusiness.com.
