CANFIELD, Ohio – Community Behavior Consulting is inviting current families, prospective clients, educators, healthcare professionals and community members to its first open house from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Aug. 20.

Guests are welcome to visit any of the organization’s locations: 4410 Boardman-Canfield Road, Canfield; 950 Youngstown-Warren Road, Niles; and 361 Johnston Place, Poland.

During the open house, guests will experience interactive learning stations featuring tools and strategies that families can apply at home, a news release states. Demonstrations will include visual supports, reinforcement techniques, sensory activities and play-based learning experiences. Community Behavior Consulting clinicians and staff will also provide guidance on navigating state, school-based and community resources available to children and families.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the science behind applied behavior analysis, Community Behavior Consulting’s approach to treatment, and how individualized services can help children and families achieve meaningful progress, the release states. 

“Our goal is to create an environment where families feel informed, supported and empowered,” said Jen Gonda, owner and director of Community Behavior Consulting. “We want our community to better understand who we are, what we do and how our services can make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families.”
