YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber is inviting the community to visit downtown Wednesday for an evening designed to showcase and support local businesses.
During the Fall in Love with Downtown Youngstown event, attendees can enjoy dinner and drinks while exploring the heart of downtown. The event will begin when the workday ends, giving residents, employees, students and visitors an opportunity to head downtown, relax and show their support for restaurants, bars and shops.
Participating bars and restaurants include:
- Avalon Downtown Pizzeria, 17 W. Federal St.
- Casa di Canzonetta, 44 Federal Plaza East.
- Draught House, 219 W. Federal St.
- The Varsity Club, 131 W. Commerce St.
- V2 Wine Bar and Trattoria, 100 W. Federal St.
- West 34, 34 W. Federal St.
- Penguin City Brewing, 460 E. Federal St.
- The Apollo Event Center, 117 S. Champion St.
- The Federal, 110 W. Federal St.
“We’re excited to welcome the community downtown for this special night,” said Anne Massullo Sabella, owner of Avalon Downtown Pizzeria. “That energy and support helps keep downtown moving forward, and we’re proud to be part of it.”
The event will also include a scavenger hunt to support chamber members, and prizes will be awarded. A scavenger hunt card can be obtained from any of the participating businesses Wednesday.
“Our downtown thrives when people show up and support the businesses that make it unique,” said Kim Calvert, executive vice president of membership, events and marketing communications at the Regional Chamber. “By gathering together for events like this, we can help ensure downtown remains a vibrant growing destination for everyone.”
