YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The YMCA of Youngstown is inviting the community to help make a difference for local youths on Giving Tuesday.
“We are thrilled to announce that Dearing Compressor & Co. and the Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley’s Giving Tuesday and Beyond Campaign are matching donations – doubling your impact,” the YMCA said in a news release.
The YMC provides opportunities for children including swim lessons, after-school programs, summer camps, youth sports and leadership development, providing children with a safe place to learn, grow and thrive.
Giving Tuesday is Dec. 2, and donations can be made online or by stopping by any YMCA of Youngstown location.
The YMCA of Youngstown operates the Central YMCA downtown, the D.D. & Velma Davis Family YMCA in Boardman and Camp Fitch YMCA on Lake Erie.
