HUBBARD, Ohio – What started as a vision for more personalized patient care has expanded into a larger facility designed to serve more people across the region.
Dawnelle Jewell discusses the grand opening and ribbon cutting of the new Hubbard location for Complete Physical Therapy & Aquatics, which combines outpatient physical therapy services with a dedicated aquatic therapy center.
Jewell says she launched the practice with a goal of providing one-on-one care and creating an environment where patients receive individualized treatment plans tailored to their needs. Drawing on experience in pediatrics, neurology, geriatrics, sports rehabilitation and military recovery programs, she built a practice focused on expanding treatment options beyond traditional physical therapy.
The new Hubbard facility includes the company’s first privately operated aquatic therapy pool, allowing therapists to control water temperature, scheduling and treatment environments while increasing access for patients.
Jewell says aquatic therapy provides a valuable starting point for individuals dealing with pain, mobility challenges and other conditions that make traditional exercise difficult. She says the new location allows the practice to expand pediatric services, improve care for patients with fall risks and offer more appointment availability while maintaining the personalized approach that drives the company’s growth.
Jewell credits support from patients, physicians and the community for helping the business grow and making the expansion possible. She says the new facility positions Complete Physical Therapy & Aquatics to serve more patients while continuing its focus on individualized care and rehabilitation outcomes.
