CANFIELD, Ohio – Construction on a 20,000-square-foot office complex and a new assisted living and independent living campus at the Westford Lifestyle Community in Canfield are among major projects that CTW Development Corp. intends to start this year.

These new projects add to CTW’s more than 1.5 million square feet of Class A office and retail space, according to Rich Sedoris, advertising and marketing coordinator.

“CTW Development Corporation is looking forward to a successful 2025, he says.

The company has developed more than 600 residential homes in this region and other parts of Ohio. Last year an Aldi grocery store was constructed at Westford.

A warm fall season brought in a record number of golfers to Westford’s Kennsington Golf Club in 2024, Sedoris says. The adjoining Kennsington Grille also witnessed a strong response to its Summer Music on Patio events, which features local musicians.

This year, Waypoint 4180, the events center at Westford, will host its third annual bridal show April 13. The show will feature vendors, door prizes and a fashion show. The Kensington Golf Simulator Lounge, located below Waypoint 4180, is available for rentals all year round, Sedoris says.

Kennsington Hospitality Group, manages CTW’s Marriott properties, the Courtyard Marriott and the newer Marriott TownePlace & SpringHill extended stay suites. All performed well last year, he says.

Elsewhere, Sedoris says construction of new retail space at Raccoon Road and U.S. Route 224 is moving forward as are improvements to the Clocktower Plaza retail space in Lima, Ohio.
