COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio Senate President Rob McColley, R-Napoleon, has selected Republican state Sen. Al Cutrona of Canfield to serve on the joint committee to attend the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump.

“I am honored to represent the Ohio Senate and the people of the 33rd Senate District for the momentous occasion in Washington, D.C., next week,” Cutrona said. “This is an important time in our country and state, and I look forward to the next four years with President Trump and Ohio’s very own Vice President-elect JD Vance serving in the White House.”

The inauguration will take place Monday inside the Capitol Rotunda. It was moved inside due to forecasts of intense cold weather, The Associated Press reported Friday.
