YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Crews began clearing land Monday in front of the former General Motors plant to prepare for a new artificial intelligence data center, part of the $500 billion Stargate project backed by SoftBank Group, OpenAI and Oracle.

Plus, the Ohio Tax Credit Authority on Monday approved a seven-year, 1.126% Job Creation Tax Credit to support a proposed $43.85 million expansion at Vallourec’s Youngstown plant.

And local veteran business owners say the discipline, leadership and adaptability learned during military service have been essential to their success in the private sector.
