With the holiday season behind us, The Business Journal is reminding readers and advertisers that time is running short to participate in its 2026 Growth Report, the publication’s most widely read and referenced edition of the year.

This year brings an important change. There will be only one Growth Report edition in 2026, publishing Feb. 24. That makes this the sole opportunity for organizations to be included, and Business Journal staff encourage companies and organizations to act quickly to participate.

The Growth Report is consistently the most-read publication produced by The Business Journal each year and serves as a yearlong reference for business leaders, investors, policymakers and community partners across the Mahoning Valley. The report highlights where the region has been and where it is headed, making it a key platform for organizations looking to share their outlook for the year ahead.

Organizations can participate in two ways.

Story submissions are free and allow organizations to share their own growth narrative by responding to guidelines provided by The Business Journal. Submissions focus on reflections from 2025, key successes, plans and strategies for 2026 and the organization’s impact on the community. Submissions are limited to 500 words and will be edited for news style. Advertising or promotional language will be removed.

Organizations can also reserve advertising space in the Growth Report, ensuring visibility in the only edition of the report published in 2026. Advertising provides an opportunity to showcase services, leadership and contact information alongside stories from economic and community development organizations, foundations, nonprofits, educational institutions and labor and professional groups.

Story submissions are due Feb. 9, with advertising deadlines set for Feb. 16. The report will be published Feb. 24.

Stories should be emailed to growth@business-journal.com and can include a high-resolution photo with a caption identifying individuals from left to right.

Advertising rates are available HERE. Story submission instructions are available HERE.

The Business Journal looks forward to telling the stories of the organizations shaping the region’s growth in the year ahead.
