YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Mahoning Valley businesswoman Denise DeBartolo York and her family tied for No. 163 on Forbes’ list of the 400 richest people in America.
The ranking lists the net worth of the family that owns the San Francisco 49ers at $8.4 billion.
J. Joe Ricketts and family of TD Ameritrade and Charles Simonyi of Microsoft are tied with York at No. 163 on the list with the same net worth.
Elon Musk of Tesla and SpaceX tops the list with $428 billion. Larry Ellison of Oracle with $276 billion, Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook with $253 billion, Jeff Bezos of Amazon with $241 billion and Larry Page of Google with $179 billion round out Forbes’ top five.
The list is based on the wealth of each individual as of Sept. 1.
