HERMITAGE, Pa. – Anna Kavulla, a Thiel College student, credits her time in the Entrepreneurship Academy at LindenPointe with helping shape her perspective on business and her future.
Kavulla joined her sister’s art-based venture, A Pastel Petal, in 2020 after it launched as a digital storefront two years earlier. The business, which began by selling downloadable greeting cards on Etsy, has since expanded to offer a range of handcrafted products, including stationery, journals, stickers and tote bags. It also provides custom design services such as logos and marketing materials for local businesses.
Kavulla says the eAcademy, a yearlong program for high school seniors, provided essential skills such as marketing, business planning and communication. Though she’s unsure if the business will become a full-time career, Kavulla says the experience has been instrumental in her development as an entrepreneur.
