CANFIELD, Ohio – DGPerry CPAs and Advisors in 2024 was named to Inside Public Accounting’s Top 200 list for the second consecutive year.

The Canfield-based firm ranked No. 198 based on net revenue.

This recognition highlights the firm’s commitment to growth and dedication to excellence, according to Betsy Bresnahan, marketing manager.

DGPerry acquired Hack, Steer & Co., a CPA firm based in Salem, Ohio, on Feb. 1. The Salem office is managed by partner Justin D. Yost and is staffed by seven professionals.

With eight offices across four states and a team of 160 professionals, DGPerry helps clients to navigate complex financial and business challenges.

The Canfield office is a key hub for DGPerry, employing 26 full-time team members who serve a diverse range of audit and tax clients.

Under the leadership of Bruce Flyak, partner in charge, the assurance team continues to increase its portfolio, focusing on multiemployer benefit plans, construction contractors and not-for-profit auditing engagements.

This  year, DGPerry is renovating its Canfield office, which is located on Starr Centre Drive, to create an open workspace that supports teamwork and efficiency.

This past fall, partner Debbie Liggett-Dixon achieved her designation as a certified exit planning adviser, which enhances her ability to guide business owners through transitions.

DGPerry Canfield recently promoted two of its staffers.

Aaron J. Pitko, who specializes in fraud prevention, tax compliance, auditing and strategic planning, was promoted to partner.

Mei Liu was promoted to supervisor.
