YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Jacque Mumford has been named the new director of continuous improvement for the Diocese of Youngstown Catholic Schools.
A former professor of education at Walsh University, Mumford has been principal of St. Paul Catholic School in Salem for the past four years. She will begin her new role in July, and her work will focus on how to improve the academic outcomes for all students.
A seasoned educator, Mumford will also help direct individual school improvement plans and work with the Ohio Catholic School Accrediting Association to ensure that the Diocese of Youngstown Catholic Schools are the most sought-after educational options in the six county region.
“I am very pleased that Dr. Mumford is joining the OCS staff, though I know she will be missed at St. Paul, Salem,” said Steven Jones, superintendent of Catholic Schools. “She has a proven track record of building academic programs that can distinguish our schools, and I know she will be a great asset to our team.”
