YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Dylan’s House, a nonprofit organization devoted to empowering and enriching the lives of autistic individuals in the Mahoning Valley, raised over $150,000 at its fourth annual Sunday Funday event.

The organization’s largest fundraiser of the year took place Sunday at Penguin City Brewing, with over 500 in attendance.

The money raised at the event will go directly to the construction of two new homes in the Mahoning Valley that will house multiple autistic adults and caregivers.

“We’re so grateful for another successful Sunday Funday,” said co-founder Amy Shope. “It’s always overwhelming to see the support we receive from our community. We’re getting closer to completing our first two houses, and the money raised will help us build more homes providing housing for the autism community.”

Attendees enjoyed a performance by local band RDNA, raffle baskets, silent auctions, educational learning opportunities, drink specials and food from locally owned food trucks.
