Eagle Rental Purchase Cuts Ribbon for Niles Store

NILES, Ohio – The ribbon was cut Monday to open the 11th location of Eagle Rental Purchase, a rent-to-own furniture store owned by Randy Lewis and Joe Fischer.

The store, 5580 Youngstown-Warren Road, is the company’s first in Trumbull County.

“When the opportunity to expand our business at this prime location came, we knew we had to do it,” said Lewis. “With this new store we’ll be able to give Trumbull County customers a new option for rent-to-own.”

Eagle Rental Purchase offers name-brand furniture, appliances, electronics, mattresses and computers, including such brands as Ashley Furniture, Crosley, Whirlpool, Serta, Samsung and LG. Customers can pay by the week, month or in full with 120 days same as cash.

“Today’s customer is looking for more options and more choices when it comes to home goods,” said Fischer. “That’s the big difference when shopping at Eagle, you get to choose from our large selection of items in stock or custom order, so you’re not limited with what’s on the showroom floor.”

Fisher and Lewis started the company 10 years ago with their first store in Boardman. Today the company operates stores in Akron, Brookpark, Calcutta, Canton, Cleveland, Euclid and North Randall. Two more locations will be opening in September in the Pittsburgh market, they said.

As part of the grand opening celebration for the Niles store, Eagle is offering customers a chance to win a free seven-piece living room package. No purchase is necessary, but customers must register in person. The winning name will be drawn Aug. 31.
