COLUMBUS, Ohio – The East Liverpool Walmart at 16280 Dresden Ave. is among 18 stores across Ohio slated for remodeling as part of the company’s continued reinvestment in the state.
Walmart announced the upgrades as part of its ongoing efforts to modernize both the in-store and digital shopping experience. Upgrades will include layouts, technology and services to offer faster, more convenient shopping and delivery, a news release states.
Walmart invested more than $672 million to upgrade stores throughout Ohio over the past five years. Nationally, Walmart is planning to remodel more than 650 Supercenters and Neighborhood Markets this year.
“Our remodeled stores are designed with both customers and associates in mind,” said Glenda Fleming Willis, Walmart senior vice president for the north business unit. “These upgrades across the state combine innovative technology, improved layouts and expanded services to deliver a better experience for everyone who walks through our doors or shops with us online.”
