For ECMSI, 2025 was a year of problem solving, practical adjustments and serving the company’s partners.
Many of the challenges were industrywide, but the company – which offers computer management solutions – responded in ways that strengthened its operations and set the stage for future growth.
Evolving operational costs encouraged the Struthers-based company to be more intentional in how it managed vendor relationships, said Lauren Butka, marketing director. ECMSI kept its focus on improving efficiency and streamlining workflows.
Because of workforce shortages across the industry, the company invested even more in its people. It expanded training programs, created new opportunities for skill development, and reinforced a culture that supports long term growth.
Supply chain delays, especially around hardware, continued to be a challenge. To stay ahead of disruptions, the company improved forecasting, strengthened relationships with distributors, and communicated earlier with clients.
Throughout the year, ECMSI continued its partnerships with Acronis and the Cleveland Cavaliers, which allowed it to showcase its cybersecurity expertise.
The company opened a branch in the Akron-Canton area in 2025, bringing its total number of locations to four.
Demand for managed security services continued to grow throughout 2025. ECMSI welcomed new clients in highly regulated and mission critical industries, reinforcing its role as a trusted technology partner.
Several trends will shape the company’s strategy in 2026.
With AI driven automation continuing to transform IT operations, more intelligent tools will be integrated.
Cybersecurity will remain a top priority, with continued investment in advanced monitoring and security training.
Cloud optimization will also be a major focus as organizations look to control costs while improving performance.
