STRUTHERS, Ohio – CRN, a brand of The Channel Co., has named Lauren Butka, marketing director at ECMSI, a finalist in the Marketing Executive of the Year – Solutions Provider category of the 2025 CRN Women of the Year Awards.

This is the third annual CRN Women of the Year Awards, which spotlight extraordinary women, companies and allies who demonstrate dedication to advancing the IT industry through their leadership and initiatives. The winners of the Women of the Year Awards will be announced at an Awards Gala on Dec. 9 in New York City.

The honor recognizes Butka’s commitment to channel innovation and excellence. Her strategic initiatives have elevated ECMSI’s brand visibility and helped secure its place on the CRN Tech Elite 250 List. She has been recognized with the CRN Women of the Channel Award for three consecutive years (2023-2025).

Butka leads a nationwide peer group of marketing professionals and mentors new graduates and interns entering the field, fostering collaboration and growth across the industry. She earned an MBA from Youngstown State University and a master’s degree in psychology from Arizona State University.
