CANFIELD, Ohio – Farmers National Banc Corp. has appointed Greg Ensley as its Lake to River regional president.

This leadership position comes as Farmers continues to grow, most recently through an expansion into central Ohio with the acquisition of Middlefield Bank. Farmers’ Lake to River region is composed of Ashtabula, Trumbull, Mahoning and Columbiana counties.

Ensley has more than 25 years of experience with Farmers and has played a key role in expanding commercial relationships and supporting local businesses. He is based in Farmers’ Canfield headquarters and will continue serving as commercial banking team leader and relationship manager in addition to his regional president role.

“We are thrilled by the appointment of Greg to regional president. Greg is a proven leader in the organization and has earned the trust and respect of customers, colleagues and community leaders in the Mahoning Valley area and beyond,” said Todd Simko, chief banking officer at Farmers National Bank. “His deep knowledge of commercial banking, commitment to relationship-based service and passion for working with business owners make him the ideal leader in the Lake to River region.”

In his role as regional president, Ensley will provide strategic leadership for the bank’s business development efforts across the region.

“I am honored to serve as regional president and to continue working alongside our talented team supporting customers and businesses in my community,” Ensley said. “I look forward to building on our strong foundation and driving continued success for our customers.”

Ensley is also a board member for The American Heart Association of Northeast Ohio and serves as both a board member and treasurer for The Walnut Grove All-Inclusive Playground in Canfield.
