CANFIELD, Ohio – The Educational Service Center of Eastern Ohio held a ceremony April 17 to honor the dedication and memory of former governing board members who have died.
The former board members were honored with an outdoor space for ESC of Eastern Ohio staff and a plaque commemorating their commitment to education
Current board members gathered for the ceremony, and the plaque stands as a permanent tribute to the former members’ legacy of leadership, service and dedication that shaped the educational service center’s mission to support both local districts and students in Mahoning, Columbiana and surrounding counties.
“This memorial is a simple but meaningful way to acknowledge the enduring vision and leadership of those who are no longer with us,” said Jeffery Good, governing board president. “Their commitment has truly transformed lives, and we are honored to recognize their service and cherish their memory.”
