COLUMBIANA, Ohio – The Educational Service Center of Eastern Ohio will host its Dollars for Scholars fundraiser from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Birdfish Brewing Co.
This event will support the ESC of Eastern Ohio’s Franklin B. Walter Scholarship program, which provides financial assistance to outstanding high school seniors in Mahoning and Columbiana counties. A portion of the event’s proceeds – $1 from every draft beverage sold – will be donated directly to the scholarship fund.
The event will feature karaoke, raffles and Mediterranean cuisine from The Sauceeino Mediterranean Grill Food Truck.
“Dollars for Scholars is a fun, community-driven way to celebrate and support academic achievement in our region,” said John Kuzma, director of teaching and learning at the ESC of Eastern Ohio. “We encourage everyone to come out, enjoy the night and raise a glass to education.”
