CANFIELD, Ohio – The Educational Service Center of Eastern Ohio will host a STEM enrichment program next month for third through fifth graders.
Camp Invention: Spark will run from July 13-17 at the ESC of Eastern Ohio, 7320 N. Palmyra Road. Led by educators, campers will explore science, technology, engineering and mathematics through activities that encourage problem-solving, teamwork and imagination.
Students will participate in challenges and interactive experiences that bring STEM concepts to life. They will design inventions, explore forensic science, tackle engineering challenges and create solutions inspired by real-world problems. The program is designed to keep children engaged in meaningful summer learning while having fun and making new friends.
“Camp Invention provides students with an opportunity to learn through exploration and discovery,” said Kerri Gries, camp director. “Children are encouraged to think creatively, take risks and develop the confidence needed to become future innovators.”
The camp will run from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and registration is $110 per camper. Through the support of the Aimee and Lulu Trust and the Mahoning Valley Foundation, Mahoning County families may qualify for reduced registration. Space is limited.
