YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Jewish Community Relations Council of the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation will host a Mitzvah Day event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at OCCHA, 3360 Shirley Road.
The event will include free haircuts, community health information, Mercy Health screenings and a pop-up store with personal hygiene products, food and basic necessities.
“There are so many wonderful organizations in the Valley doing amazing work,” said Nic Bush, Youngstown Area Jewish Federation development and community relations manager. “We’re grateful to partner with them to showcase what we, and they, offer for the community. It’s also a chance for community members to experience these benefits all in one place on one day.”
