Attendance at all courses is “first-come-first served”, and instructors reserve the right to limit class size in the interest of safety and comfort. Please see immediately below for important exceptions…
All proceeds go directly to the Paul E. Gomez Children’s Trust, dedicated to the support and education of Paul’s beloved children. Registration is limited based on the size of the facility and demand is high, so please do not delay in signing up.
In response to popular demand, two types of tickets to PEP5 will be available:
General Admission, at $350 (limited to 80 attendees)
Patron Admission, at $450, (limited to 20 attendees)
-entitles the purchaser to an advance viewing of the Conference schedule and guaranteed admission to any scheduled course
Please note that the cost of dinner Saturday is included in the registration fee.
“I have a very special set of skills…”
A very limited number of folks will be able to attend PEP5 at no cost, though they may wish they had chosen the other route. We recruiting for 2 cohorts of minions who will trade labor for admission:
1. Eight (8) Team Medics, trained and qualified clinical care/EMT-types to serve under the direction of Dr. House
in managing the health and safety needs of attendees, and
2. Eight (8) Range Gnomes willing to perform any other damn sort of stuff that needs doin’, under the direction of
Boss Gnome Paul Carlson, of Safety Solutions Academy (we had to give him the job, ‘cuz when we created it
he already had the weird beard-thing working…what were we s’posed to do?)
Likely rewards for both positions include sweat, toil, scant regard, and perhaps a t-shirt.
Please indicate interest by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org with a brief bio.
You’ll be contacted in response to the qualifications and apparent defects of character we find most appealing. If not picked, go ahead and tell yourself that it’s us, not you.

Campsites are available on the Conference site, for both RV (with utility hookups) and tents (with shower and restroom facilities) for reservation per night.
Please mention camping interest after registration in an email addressed forthwith to email@example.com and you will be magically referred to personnel appropriate to that discussion. Not us, though…we like our outdoors just fine when equipped with walls and ceilings.
Finally, for the truly discerning among you, desirous of the true full-Gomez experience, we will provide the number to the sleaziest local skank-pit of a dive-motel-from-hell upon request…just don’t say you weren’t warned.
The Conference will be conducted at an outdoor facility in August. Please prepare accordingly. Plenty of water will be provided for hydration safety, lunch will be available for purchase onsite both days, and attendees are welcome to bring any food and drink they desire. Dinner on Saturday is included in the cost of admission. The facility features electric power, potable water, and restrooms though it is best described as “Spartan chic”, if not Spartan chick…
Auction, Bonfire, and Celebration of Paul’s Life
A delicious dinner will be served around 5:30 Saturday, to be followed by an auction of various highly desirable goodies for the discerning tacticophile; proceeds to enrich the Children’s Trust. Bring yo’ wallet, friends ’n’ neighbors because the gettin’ has been good!
At the conclusion of the auction, many adult beverages will be slaughtered before a raging bonfire and ribald tales of Paul told….some of them true! We strongly encourage you to bring exotic beverages from your home planet and share same with friends old and new. We don’t forbid abstinence from partaking, but you’re a daisy if ya do.
That being said, please live by the immortal words of John Bernard Books: “Whoa…I hope you’re smart enough to know that who-hit-John don’t go with guns.”
—At 1230 Saturday, there will be a a fiendishly difficult contest of pistol marksmanship during the lunch break to raise additional funds for the Children’s Trust. $10 to enter, try as often as you like.
This ain’t no joke, cuzzin’. It’s never been cleaned and the a previous winner was determined by tie-breaker: a support-hand-only torso hit at over 90 yards.
If’n u skurred, just say u skurred….but GLORY lasts forever
—Check for yourself, of course, but it is believed that Ohio honors concealed carry permits from WA, ID, WY, UT, AZ, NM, AK, ND, NE, KS, OK, MO, AR, LA, MI, KY, TN, WV, VA, NC, SC, FL, AND DE.
—If you would like to donate an auction item, please contact us by email at (firstname.lastname@example.org) with the word “DONATION” in the subject line to discuss.
Preference given to items likely to fetch the highest bids preferred, of course, but all generous thoughts are appreciated.
