Fabian Woodworking made a significant investment in 2025, purchasing a new CNC machine.

To integrate the massive piece of equipment, the Poland, Ohio, company reengineered the infrastructure of its shop, says founder Dan Fabian. It installed new dedicated air lines, upgraded its electrical systems to handle the increased load and configured a high-volume dust collection system to keep the workspace clean and safe.

A major highlight of 2025 was the completion of a massive, custom-built walnut bar for a local client. Walnut is a beautiful but demanding wood to work with, especially on a project of this scale, Fabian says. The build required an immense amount of labor, from grain-matching the panels to ensuring the finish was durable enough for a high-use environment.

The project pushed the staff members to be at their best, and the client was very pleased, Fabian says.

“It was a powerful reminder that while machines give us speed, our hands and our eyes give the work its soul,” he says.

Fabian Woodworking remained active in the community by donating custom-made gift baskets for fundraisers and charity auctions.

The company can now handle larger and more complex projects and intends to expand in 2026.

“We are looking into new markets to establish long-term partnerships with contractors who need a reliable, high-precision shop to handle custom cabinetry and architectural millwork,” Fabian says.
